“It is my pleasure to highly recommend John O’Connor for the work he did on our house.  From first meeting with John it was clear he would do a quality job, he checked with me on many things that I never would have thought about like the finishes when he laid our timber floor around the radiator, fireplace and door saddles.  He made sure to ask what direction I wanted the floor boards to run also.  Following this he did a renovation job for us, he put in two new picture windows on the gable wall,  he knocked through a wall between the play room and dining room, laid another floor and installed a stove.  John took care of everything, he organised the windows, the chimney, the skip hire, he co-ordinated everything with the supplier and best of all he had the whole job finished in four days!  Everything was left so tidy every night that it was no hassle to use the kitchen (right beside the work area). We really are so happy with the work John did for us and also we are grateful for the positive experience of dealing with a real professional.  When the balustrade is installed I’ll send some nicer pictures.  The carpenter who did the sitting room unit was over this evening to measure it for us, he said he would recommend John also because the floor was so level”.
